Little Help Please - Guild Wars Forums

I am trying to do the :The Far North" part of the weekend event and I am at the step to scout the Shiverpeak Bloodstone. Well I have been to that bloodstone 3 times now, even danced on it and the quest wont update.

What am I doing wrong? I know its been a little while since I played but what am I missing?

Help Please!

Are you doing it from the campaign quest part of it or did you get access to it by getting the dungeon quest?

As far as I know you need to dungeon quest which you can get from Gadd's Encampment.

Thats what it was. I had forgotten about the quest in the camp. It's all good now. Thanks for the help.

This was confusing a LOT of people in Gadd's Encampment. I stood there sorting it out for about 5 minutes but the stream of people who didn't know why they weren't getting credit never ended.

I'm stuck on it too. When I do it as the dungeon quest with Gadd and Livia, the marker never shows up on my zoomed in map. When I enter the dungeon by just walking through the main door, I kill the ettins and shield things, but then I can't get the next door open. When I did it as the quest/mission with Gadd, the cut scene began and there was no map marker to go to. What am I doing wrong? help appreciated.

If you have Gadd with you then you have not yet completed it for the first time as a story quest "finding the bloodstone." You have to it that way first before you can do it in dungeon mode. Once you have completed finding the blood stone talk to Saerin in Gadd's encampment to get the dungeon quest (there will be 3 quest available the first time and 1 each time after that). When you do it in dungeon mode be sure to walk right in through the stone doorway - if you have the quest the doors inside will be open for you.
